Don’t forget your dancing shoes when you visit Combermere this weekend.
This Saturday the Combermere and Area Recreation Committee is inviting you to the first edition of their Spring Fever Dance.
Melissa McCaig, Chair of the committee, says it’s a great way to enjoy some time out with community members during these cold winter months. She also says proceeds go back to the committee so they can continue putting on events and finance Combermere’s ice rink.
McCaig states that they’re also trying to support local artists and see it’s something that people will enjoy. On Saturday, she says the band “Insanity”, who are local favourites, will hit the stage to perform a mix of the rock hits you love.
The event is from 8:00 PM till 1:00 AM at the Combermere Community Centre. Given that there will be a cash bar on location, attendees must be at least 19 years of age.
