OPP Arrest Man at Traffic Stop for Possession of Cocaine

A traffic stop results in the arrest of a man carrying cocaine.

A 33 year old man was arrested early this morning after the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP conducted a traffic stop in the Town of Petawawa.

Police say the man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was carrying a quantity of cocaine. He now faces charges of possession of a schedule 1 substance.

The individual, from Laurentian Valley Township, was released on a promise to appear in court on April 3^rd.
