Don’t waste your time and join the Township of Madawaska Valley’s new committee.
The township is putting together the Public Liaison Committee (PLC) which acts as a sub-committee of the Operations Committee. Volunteers in the group will be able to bring waste management solutions and concerns to Council on a regular basis.
Operations Manager for Township of Madawaska Valley, Hilary Kutchkoskie, says they’re looking for people interested in finding strategies to improve waste management at the Bark Lake Landfill.
Kutchkoskie says he wants to make it fun for committee members and plans on visiting the Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Site if the group is interested. He adds that the time commitment is minimal and the committee can work around certain schedules.
