Madawaska Valley Township Looking for Volunteers for New Committee

Madawaska Valley Township is inviting you to submit your candidature for the chance to be part of the new “Twinning Committee”.

In 2015, the Township of Madawaska Valley was twinned with the community of Lipusz, a community in Poland recognized for their Kashubian heritage and culture. The initiative was meant as a cooperative effort to grow their social, cultural, business, educational, economic and tourism opportunities.

The Township is now seeking four volunteers that are interested in actively participating in a “Twinning Committee”. Members of the committee will work together, on behalf of the Municipality, on this exciting initiative into the future.

Interested applicants are invited to submit a cover letter and resume and/or personal background addressing how they will make an impact on the committee. Submit your applications no later than 4:00 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2019. Please quote “Twinning Committee” in the subject line and forward to:
