Renfrew OPP Looking to Hire a Student for the Summer

The OPP want to hire you for the summer.

Constable Tina Hunt says they’re now taking applications in regards to a summer student position at the OPP Renfrew detachment.

She says the chosen applicant (1) will be asked to promote the OPP’s local programs in the community, plan and organize daily assigned work and support Ontario’s Mobilization and Engagement Model of Community Policing.

Hunt adds that it’s a great opportunity for anyone interested in policing as a career because it offers real life experience on a daily basis.

She says the applicants must be at least 18 years of age, they must have valid CPR and First Aid certifications, they must have a valid Ontario G2 driver’s license (or equivalent or higher) and must be an Ontario resident during the time of the employment.
