Renfrew County Animal Centre Are Spreading Kindness and Cupcakes

Don’t be surprised if a puppy knocks on your door next week.

That’s because the Renfrew County Animal Centre of the Ontario SPCA are preparing their Random Acts of Kindness Day.

Community Development Coordinator for the centre, Heather Jobe, says that people can order cupcakes and have them delivered to a special person living in Renfrew County.

She says that all of the proceeds go to animal care for the non-profit organization. Jobe says that they’re getting help from local bakeries like Fancy Fox Cupcakes Co and the Kitchen Eatery and Catering Company in order to make sure everyone’s treats are tasty.

She adds that you might even see a furry delivery guy because they also offer a paw patrol delivery service. For an additional fee she says they’ll bring a puppy to help make the delivery. “It’s our way of spreading kindness to the community” she says.

They also cater to people who have special food needs (gluten free) and you can even order pupcakes (for your four-legged friend).

She says that the goodies must be ordered before next Tuesday February 19th and will be delivered the following day. For more information or to make an order you can call them at 613-635-7508 or send them a message on their Facebook page by clicking here.
