If you have been anxiously awaiting the opening of the area’s outdoor rinks, you are in luck.
According to Recreation and Community Development Coordinator Paul Nopper, it has been a long road to get the rinks in shape.
Since then, he says that crews have been working diligently to get the rinks ready to use.
The Wilno rink opened to skaters yesterday, Barry’s Bay rink is slated to open by Friday night and Combermere is hoping to have it’s rink ready to go Saturday.
