An investigation is underway into the alleged professional misconduct of a Pembroke lawyer.
CTV reports that a Cobden woman has complained she is missing $100,000 after lawyer Ken Conroy worked for her.
The Law Society of Upper Canada began their investigation into the complaints last summer.
Conroy’s law firm has since closed its doors and he signed an undertaking last October to not practice law in Ontario.
The OPP has confirmed with CTV that they have received three separate complaints in regards to missing money.
