Don’t miss out on this year’s SnoFun Winter Festival.

That’s the message from Killaloe and Area Lions Club President, Rachelle Clayton. The festival kicked off on Saturday January 26th and ends on Sunday February 3rd. She says the week-long festival includes many at-home activities that’ll get you to enjoy the outdoors (and indoors) and mingle with the community.

She says that this time of year, due to the cold weather and early sunsets, it’s easy to get stuck inside so the festival offers activities to get people to be active.

Clayton adds that the festival is 70-years-old and it was one of the first events the club put together in its first year on inception.

She says there are many events going on this week such as a bake-off and tea party on Thursday, a balfolk dancing concert on Friday, the KHR Kevin Lynch Hockey Tournament on Saturday and a pancake breakfast on Sunday morning followed by tobogganing at Garnet’s Ranch.
