Charges Laid In Hit And Run

A 31-year-old truck driver from Mississauga is facing several charges after a hit and run last Thursday in Laurentian Valley.
The collision happened at the corner of Highway 17 and Round Lake Road last Thursday.

The collision sent a 63-year-old woman of an SUV to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The truck driver left the scene and was later pulled over by OPP in Deep River.
He is facing multiple charges, including failure to stop at a red light, careless driving and failure to remain at the scene.
He is due in a Pembroke court on February 8th.
