OPP is investigating after a home invasion in Arnprior.
Police say a man was violently attacked in his home after opening his door to two men last week.
Ottawa Police Staff Seargant Michael Haarbosch says he has reason to believe the attack was planned.
The victim was rushed to hospital.
He has since been released, but is still in the recovery period.
Some keepsakes from the victim’s deceased wife were taken.
