Planning for Highway 17 Stalled

Highway 17 future expansions may be in doubt beyond the current build.
As of this year, the Federal government does not have any money set aside for the continued expansion into Renfrew County.
The most recent expansion to Scheel Drive in McNab/Braeside is on schedule and should be finished by fall.
The biggest hurdle for the expansion is competing for funding against the 400 series of highways.
