Madawaska Valley Township is holding a special council meeting on Monday night.
CAO-Clerk Sue Klatt says that the meeting will help decide if Madawaska Valley is opting in or out in regards to authorizing retail cannabis stores within the municipalities boundaries.
She says members of the public will have the opportunity to voice their concerns and ask Council any questions they may have before the decision is made following the public consultation.
The meeting starts at 6:00 at the Madawaska Valley Township Municipal Office.
