Basil Borutski made a brief court appearance yesterday in Pembroke on three charges of first degree murder.
Borutski was arrested last September after 3 women were found murdered around Wilno.
He is still refusing a lawyer, but Judge Bob Selkirk said that due to the serious charges against Borutski, one would be appointed.
He will be back in court March 3rd.
