Dellen Millard handed third life sentence, behind bars until 2088

A Toronto serial killer will remain behind bars for 75 years.
Dellen Millard was handed a third life sentence for killing his father Wayne. His first two life sentences were in relation to the murders of Laura Babcock and Tim Bosma. Millard will serve each 25-year-sentence consecutively, with no chance for parole until he’s 102 in 2088.

Canadian authorities now have more freedom to catch impaired drivers.
New legislation coming into effect today allows police officers to demand a breath test for any driver pulled over for any legal reason. The feds hope this new law will help police bring down the number of impaired driving-caused deaths on Canada’s roads.
