If you were hoping to get some sledding in this weekend, you are in luck.
The Opeongo Snowbirds Snowmobile Club has confirmed that a few trails are now open for use.
The B102 to B trail – from Barry’s Bay to Aylen Lake Road is open right now.
Then looped on the 155 to the B trail at the Bonnechere River and back on the B to the railway bed.
By this afternoon, they say they will have the B102 to B open from Wilno to Whitney.
They say that the rest of the trails are being worked on, but there are trees down everywhere so it is a slow process.
