100 turkeys will be given away tomorrow!
Marcia Jackson and Chris Daly want you to pick up your turkey. For the 4th consecutive year they will be at the Paul J Yakabuski Community Centre after the Madawaska Valley Lions Club’s Santa Claus Parade.
Jackson and Daly, along with their daughter Sarah, say they’ve been welcomed in the valley with open arms a few years ago and decided they wanted to give back. She says that not every family can afford a nice Christmas dinner and says they’re fortunate to be in a position to give to a community that has given to them.

Jackson says sometimes people don’t want to say that they’re in need which is why she says anyone can drop in and get a turkey.
