Baby Jesus is back.
The OPP said the baby Jesus figurine that had been reported stolen in Renfrew on Sunday has now been found. The baby was in the nativity scene in Low Square on Saturday and Renfrew OPP’s Constable Janice Sawbridge said they were notified it was missing on Sunday.
The OPP says it was found in the parking lot next to Renfrew’s Town Hall on Wednesday morning. They say the figurine was not damaged and will be returned where it belongs.
The organizing committee did say that they will be implanting security measures to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
