Renfrew is looking for its baby Jesus.
Constable Janice Sawbridge of the Renfrew OPP says every year a committee puts out a nativity scene in front of town hall in Renfrew. As of Sunday, the sets baby Jesus was missing. She says the figurine was definitely there on Saturday which must have been stolen during Saturday afternoon’s Santa Claus parade or overnight.
Sawbridge says that this isn’t the first time this happens. The OPP have laid charges for this in the past and are ready to do it again. At this point, they just want to get the figurine back in its place.
