As the temperatures get colder, the Ontario Power Generation reminds you to be safe around dams.
The OPG asks everyone to respect warning signs, barriers and fences as they are there for your protection.
Spokesperson Neal Kelly says the ice around dams and generating stations may look inviting.
Kelly also says any existing ice could also be weak due to the slow onset of winter.
