The Madawaska Valley District High School will be presenting their annual Sounds of Christmas concert.

Kirk Harber, the school’s music teacher, says it’s a great event to show the community how much talent the Madawaska Valley’s youth have.

He says their annual concert will showcase students playing a wide range of songs. From Christmas classics to pop songs, Harber says spectators will see everything from solo performances to duos, trios to full on rock bands. Harber says the students are excited to try the school’s new sound and lighting gear as well.

He points out that there is a lot of musical talent in the region which, he says, adds a lot of value in promoting the next generation of artists.

The concert will be held on December 13that the Madawaska Valley District High School. Show time is at 7:00 and donations will be accepted and go towards the MVDHS music department.
