The Township of Killaloe Hagarty and Richards are recounting the votes.
Lorna Hudder, CAO for the township says mayoral candidate David Mayville requested a recount of last months Municipal Elections. She says he requested this on November 20th and it was approved by council.
She adds that a recount doesn’t happen often but any eligible elector can ask for it. They will be reviewing every vote for council (ward 1) and the mayoral position at 8:30 on Friday morning she says, which means the results will most likely be made public sometime next week.

Mayville who ran for Mayor finished with 869 votes, behind Janice Visneskie Moore who got 951 votes.
