I expect a rambunctious atmosphere.
Those are the words from Nancy Betournay, member of the Combermere and Area Recreation Committee. The committee is hosting its 2nd annual Children’s Christmas Party this Sunday and she says, children won’t be bored. She says the Christmas party will include a sing along, a piñata smash, a puppet show, balloons, various games and crafts, letters to Santa and a visit from the big man himself accompanied by his elves.
Parents won’t be bored either. She says they can join in and do some crafts and help their children write letters to Santa. She adds that coffee and tea will be served. She says the purpose of the party is to bring the community together and to support the children of the area.
It starts at 1:00 PM this Sunday afternoon and goes till 4:00 PM at the Combermere Community Centre.
