Pembroke country star Jason Blaine came home over the holidays and brought some holiday cheer to several area organizations and charities.
The Canadian Country Music Association winner gave away a total of 75 thousand dollars over Christmas on behalf of the Jason Blaine Charitible Fund.
Among the benefactors, The boys and Girls Club and the Pembroke Regional Hospital Imaging Matters campaign each received over 15 thousand dollars.
The hospital plans to use the money towards a new MRI machine.
The Boys and Girls Club says the money will help them to maintain several programs, including the Steve Nash Basketball camp and after school programs.
