Fire officials want everyone to stay safe this holiday season by making sure they follow some safe holiday practices.
They say it’s important to never burn gift wrappings, boxes, cartons in the fire place, and to never hang Christmas stockings from the mantle when its in use.
They also urge people to water fresh Christmas trees daily and keep them away from the fireplace, heaters or candles.
