As the new year approaches, several changes to provincial regulations will come into effect.
In tobacco legislation, the sale of flavoured tobacco will be banned, and E-cigarettes will now be subject to stricter regulations.
Insurance companies must now provide a discount for drivers who buy and install winter tires.
There are also several amendments to the Highway Traffic Act which means that drivers must remain stopped at crosswalks until pedestrians have fully cleared.
