A car crash causes Highway 17 at Bruce Street to close down for 3 hours on Monday afternoon.
Renfrew OPP’s constable Janice Sawbridge says police responded to a call about a two car collision in Renfrew at 2:35 Monday afternoon. Three people were injured.
While both drivers left in an ambulance, the lone passenger was flown away to an Ottawa trauma centre in an air ambulance where her condition has been bumped to serious. The condition of the two drivers have not been made public yet.

Sawbridge said that preliminary investigations show the accident could have been caused by one of the drivers who turned when prohibited.
The identities of the victims have not been released and charges are pending.
