The Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care brings back their annual event to help you get through the holiday season.
The hospice is inviting you to an afternoon of coping with their event “Hope For the Holidays”.
Dawn Cruchet, counsellor and grief educator for the hospice, will be there helping everyone through the process. She says that she’s learned to advise people to acknowledge that a loved one has passed away. She also helps them adapt through the process.
Cruchet says that families are welcomed to come stating that it’s important for kids to learn coping skills from a young age. The event will be held at the Opeongo Senior Centre on Sunday, November 25th, from 1:00 to 3:00PM. For more information, visit their website by clicking here.
