MNRF LOOKING FOR INFO ON DEAD MOOSE ABANDONED IN ALGONQUIN PARK

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is investigating a moose found dead in Algonquin Park. The agency says it was shot and abandoned.

Conservation officers were told about the bull moose on October 19th. The carcass was found on Bronson Road.

The MNRF is asking the public for its help in finding those responsible. If you know anything about this incident you’re asked to call the MNRF’s tips line at 1-877-847-7667 toll-free any time or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
