The Mayor wants to thank the Madawaska Valley.
Kim Love didn’t get much sleep last night. As you would expect, after being re-elected for another term as Mayor of the Township of the Madawaska Valley, she mentions that the vote count was a long and kind of a nerve wracking process.
Mayor Love described that it was hard to judge what was going to happen but she was obviously happy with the results. She wants to thank everyone in the Madawaska Valley who showed faith in her and states that she is looking forward to working hard for the township.
When asked about how she felt about the results of the candidates running for council, she mentioned that she wasn’t surprised due to the fact that 5 people were running for 4 spots. She mentions that she is excited to work with them and in the process, she will make sure to evaluate the populations wants versus their needs keeping in mind affordability for what is needed and practical.
