Update: The Opeongo Seniors’ Centre will be co-sponsoring the event with the Madawaska Valley Current.
Residents will have an opportunity to meet their future municipal candidates.
The Opeongo Seniors’ Centre says it will be hosting a meet and greet starting at 7:30pm on Thursday. That meet and greet will happen at the Centre and will showcase candidates running for the 2018 municipal elections in the Madawaska Valley. Officials with the event say it’s open to anyone and refreshments will be served.
The Madawaska Valley Public Library says it will also be co-sponsoring an All Candidates Meeting with the Royal Canadian Legion Barry’s Bay Branch 406 coming up next Thursday between 7:00pm and 9:30pm. Moose FM will have more details about the event coming up.
