Environment Canada Predicts Fairly Average Autumn Season

With less than a month until fall starts, Environment Canada says you shouldn’t expect much out of the ordinary.

Meteorologist Gerald Cheng says the long-term predictions for the season look average, as he isn’t expecting it to be much hotter or cooler than in years past.

However, Cheng says that with autumn being a transitional season, the weather could vary from week-to-week in September, October and November. He mentions that the weather can change drastically if a cold front moves through the area, but it’s too early to tell if that’ll happen.

Cheng says it’s too early for Environment Canada to tell what the winter will be like, while the Farmer’ Almanac is calling for a “very cold” winter for Canada.
