13 Victims Recover Stolen Property Through OPP Investigation

Over a dozen citizens have had their stolen property returned to them.

This comes after Upper Ottawa Valley OPP invited victims of theft to come and view recovered property on August 14th and 15th. OPP Constable Shawn Peever says the items were found during a search in July in Pembroke that saw a man charged.

Peever says that during the public appeal, 13 people recovered items that had been stolen from them over the past two years. Because of this, the man is now facing at least 13 more charges, however Peever said it could end up being more than that in the long run.

Items that were on display included power tools, electronics, jewellery and various other household materials.
