Our local healthcare foundation’s first annual Thank-A-Thon was a success.
Healthcare staff, board members, volunteers and members of the community spent Giving Tuesday showing their support for the hospital’s donors. The idea is to repay donors for their support of the hospital, Valley Manor and hospice this holiday season.
St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation Executive Director Toni Lavigne-Conway says all gifts are greatly appreciated, no matter what the amount.
She says the success of the event means that there are plans to continue it next year. The foundation’s annual Tree of Lights mail-order campaign is running until the end of December. The tree lighting celebration happened at the South of 60 Arts Centre/Railway Station Friday evening. For more information, click here.
