A chance to dispose of your hazardous waste is coming up in Madawaska Valley.

That’s because the township is hosting its final household hazardous waste day of the summer this Saturday at the Paul J. Yakabuski Community Centre in Barry’s Bay.

Materials that can be dropped off include aerosol containers, flammables, fire extinguishers, oil containers and fertilizers. Any unknown material won’t be accepted, as well as explosives, PCB waste and commercial waste.

The waste day is available to all Madawaska Valley residents and runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday. For a complete list of what can and can’t be dropped off, click here.
