With a tax cut coming, the M.P.P. for Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke says it will mean nothing but good things for small businesses.

M.P.P. John Yakabuski says that these cuts will be good news for small business.

He adds that this will mean that businesses will have more money to invest. This gives them an opportunity to improve and hire more people. It’s a trickle down effect that will benefit all of us, he says.

Small businesses are the backbone of Towns like Barry’s Bay, Yakabuski added. That is why we need to do everything we can to help them.

Premier Doug Ford has yet to go into specifics regarding the tax cuts since being sworn-in. While on the campaign trail he said that small businesses would see their tax rate dropped by 8.7%. That would take the tax rate from 3.5%, where it currently is, to 3.2%.
