Newly Nominated Councillor Excited to hit the Campaign Trail

Mark Willmer is excited to get back onto the campaign trail.

That’s what he said when reached for comment after filing for nomination to run for Madawaska Valley Township Council. He says his experience is going to be beneficial to the community.

Willmer says he sees Council as a divided one. He says that’s one thing he will look to work on if elected.

Willmer added that he doesn’t think Council has been able to live up to their potential by working together.

Willmer has lived in Barry’s Bay for the past seven years. He says that him being a resident of Barry’s Bay will help him greatly during the campaign. He says it’s going to serve him well knowing the community as well as he does.
