The first of two hazardous waste days for Hastings Highlands is tomorrow.
It’s open to all residents of Hastings Highlands from 9 AM to 2 PM at 6 ANAF Road in Maynooth.
They’re accepting automotive and garage products, household cleaning products like chlorine bleach and other cleaning products, paint, pesticides & other garden products and other miscellaneous products like dry cell batteries, BBQ lighter fluids, nail polish & nail polish remover as well as glues and other types of adhesives.
They will not accept commercial, industrial or institutional wastes, radioactive material, explosives, fireworks, ammunition, biological wastes, PCB wastes, helium, Freon tanks or unknown waste. They will also not be accepting old electronics or tires.
