Yakabuski committed to lowering gas prices, making it more affordable for drivers in rural communities

Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski wants to save you money at the pumps.

The topic is cutting gas prices was brought up at Friday’s Ontario Throne Speech, and has been a concern for residents across Ontario in recent months.

Yakabuski says getting gas prices lower is critical in rural areas without public transit.

Yakabuski says the PC government plans on lowering prices by as much as 10 cents per litre.

Right now, the average gas price in Ontario is 131.3 per litre, while gas in Madawaska Valley is around 123 per litre.
