Section of Foymount Road closed until end of August

If you plan on taking Foymount Road, you might be detoured.

That’s because a stretch of the road has been closed for culvert repairs by Renfrew County Public Works.

Public Works says the road was closed on Wednesday to start the repairs, as the closure starts at Silver Lake Road. Detours have been set up for drivers passing through, as county officials say an extra four minutes will be added to your drive if you use the detour route.

Renfrew County Public Works says the repairs are just general upkeep and upgrading.
