A cross country runner from our local high school has won a national race.
Jonathan Stoppa from Madawaska Valley District High School in Barry’s Bay placed first in the National Cross Country Championships. The race happened at Fort Henry in Kingston on Saturday.
He was one of twelve runners from the Coureur de Bois Club that competed over the weekend.
