After being closed last week, Mizzy Lake Trail in Algonquin Park is once again open to park visitors.
The trail was closed last Thursday after reports of increased black bear activity along the trail. Algonquin Park says if you spot a black bear, you shouldn’t approach it and you should never corner a bear. Park officials say you should always keep food out of the open at your campsite as well to make sure bears don’t make unwanted visits.
Mizzy Lake Trail stretches almost 11 kilometres off the Highway 60 corridor.
