A fundraiser this evening is supporting 21 local residents on their home build in Mexico next year.
Students and community members are having a spaghetti dinner at Madawaska Valley District High School from 5:00pm until 7:00pm to fundraise for the trip, which is happening during March break next year. This is the third Live Different trip that has been organized in the Barry’s Bay area since 2012.
Organizer Pam McCallum says it’s life-changing to be able to build two homes for families in need.
