Canada’s 151st birthday is looking like it’ll be a warm one.

That’s according to Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson, who says temperatures this long weekend will be very warm because of a warm front from the deep south.

Coulson says that while the daytime highs will be higher than usual, your sleep won’t be much cooler.

Coulson also says it’s important to make sure you stay hydrated during the long weekend, and that elders and youth are the most vulnerable to humid weather. He says that despite temperatures being very high over the weekend, they likely won’t break any records.
