A paramedic in Renfrew County is has been recognized for his outstanding work.

That’s according to Renfrew County Paramedic Chief Michael Nolan, who says the Paramedic Chiefs of Canada give an annual award to Jeff Dodge for his innovation working with PREHOS, a digital records software used in the field.

Nolan says when the service first came to Renfrew County, Dodge’s experience in the IT department helped paramedics save a lot of time in transferring records over from paper to digital.

Nolan says this not only saves time, but can also help when working with patients.

Nolan says there is a sense of pride among everyone within the Renfrew County Paramedic Service for Dodge’s accomplishment, as it shows how his work over the years is still being used to help others today.
