Algonquin Park visitors can once again go to beaches at the Lake of Two Rivers.
That’s according to Ontario Parks, which says lab tests have been returned after being sent out this past spring. The tests determined that toxins were not detected and naturally occurring algae levels have returned to normal in the lake.
Beaches on the lake were originally closed in May because of positive testing for the algae, which can result in itchy eyes or skin, as well as nausea.
