Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Barry’s Bay and much of Renfrew County.
The weather agency says with a cold front moving through the area, thunderstorms are expected as well as heavy winds that could reach the 90-100 kilometre an hour range.
You’re reminded to tie down any loose objects that could be blown away by the wind, and take cover if thunder or lightning approaches.
