PC MPP John Yakabuski wants hydro costs lowered, efficiencies in healthcare

Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski wants to once again represent the riding in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

Yakabuski has been the MPP in the area since 2003, and before that served on municipal council for the Village of Barry’s Bay.

The PC candidate says hydro costs in rural Ontario need to go down.

Yakabuski says a lot of residents still use baseboard heaters in the riding, and as a result their hydro prices could be higher.

When it comes to healthcare, Yakabuski says the PC Party doesn’t plan on making any cuts. He says they’re instead going to talk to front line workers to find room for improvement.

Yakabuski says the PC government plans to add up to 30,000 hospital beds in Ontario in the next ten years if it forms government.

The MPP also says the broadband connectivity and the expansion of Highway 417 are huge issues for him and the PCs as well, as Leader Doug Ford has committed investments to both.

MyBarrysBayNow.com has candidate profiles highlighting Ethel Lavalley (NDP), Anna Dolan (Green Party), Jackie Agnew (Liberal Party) and John Yakabuski (PC Party) to help you become informed before heading to the polls Thursday.
