Mirimachi Lodge long-term care centre in Pembroke has been awarded the highest accreditation possible.
Accreditation Canada awards long-term care centres one of four decisions after a series of quality standard tests related to long-term care. In its most recent visit to the area, Mirimachi Lodge was given exemplary standing.
The lodge met all 448 of the standards that were being checked by Accreditation Canada during its most recent visit. The exemplary standing is a four year accreditation. Renfrew County Warden Jennifer Murphy says this achievement demonstrates the lodge’s commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Mirimachi Lodge has been operated by the City of Pembroke and County of Renfrew as a long-term care home since 1969.
