UPDATE:
MTO says Round Lake Road is closed between Simpson Pit Road and Foypark Corridor. The ministry also confirmed that the cause of the closure is a washout and says there is no estimated reopening time.

If you’re driving on Round Lake Road this morning, you could be rerouted.
Police say the road was closed just after 6:00am at Gunns Road just north of Round Lake Centre. OPP says there isn’t a collision, but instead that the closure is roads related. Police are on scene redirecting traffic to avoid the section of the road, as reports say it could be a washout.
